So, the last few years have been hard on me being able to attend conventions beyond DragonCon. Sometimes it's money, and sometimes it is because of the school calendar here in Tennessee. Either way, it's taken me away from my con friends and family, leaving me with a major case of FOMO.
But not this year! With what little funds I do have, I'm looking to return to the con scene, starting with Imaginarium in Louisville, KY on July 18-20th. I'll be teaching a few workshops, talking on a few panels, and selling copies of my book in the Author's Alley with friends.
Then, August 14-17 I'll be in Maryland to attend Once Upon a Con, a fantasy book convention at the National Harbor. I'll be doing panels, signings, and just enjoy the company of lots of fantasy writers and readers.
Finally, I'll be back at DragonCon in Atlanta during Labor Day weekend. There'll be more details released as it gets closer, but I'll be in the Hourly Writer Workshop track when I'm not doing panels elsewhere.
I'll update my event page with any other conventions that I get the pleasure of attending, and hopefully next year I'll be able to get into some of the more local TN conventions and meet other local readers and authors. The more book friends, the better!
